No nothing to do with the holidays, although they are just around the corner. No, nothing about frozen precipitation falling from the sky, even though that will ptobably happen before too much time passes. And no, it's not about buying, or selling or servicing your car, even though we extend an open invitation to do any or all of the above.

Twelve years have passed since that horrible day...though the sad events of that day will forever be etched upon my memory, the weather that day was beautiful...not a cloud in the sky.

I arrived at the restaurant that the client and I had agreed to meet at, and I waited for him to arrive. We live in a beautiful part of the state. Everywhere you look you can see something wonderful! Sometimes we do not appreciate that simple fact. My wife and I have a hobby that is designed to remind us of the wonders in our backyard. We go rambling...nothing fancy, we just get in the car and drive. We look for back roads and simply see what there is to see.

Our last ramble took us…

Driving to work this morning, I was listening to my favorite radio station. WSCY plays an excellent selection of country hits. I love driving in, on Saturday morning, with my sunroof open, and my radio playing loud. It is the time of the day when hope is alive and the day holds endless possibilities.

This morning they played a song that touched me...the song is about a little boy that loses his grandmother, and he is feeling sad, and the rain starts to fall from the sky. He begins to cry, his mother tells him that there are holes…

The roar of the crowd, bright lights, and most importantly, a story to tell...the small theater with a big heart, has done it again. Last night, I witnessed a wonderful performance at the Winnie Playhouse...Sherlock Holmes, The Final Adventure.

The acting was very good, the set creative, and the feeling...intimate. The actor who portrays Sherlock captured that annoying, but amusing and likeable character, dreamed up by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, to a tee. Watson is both a character and the narrator, he is funny, and tells the story seamlessly between roles, Irene Adler is beautiful and lives…

Phil Charte was many things...a gifted athlete, a smart, and really funny guy, he was a  captain of the wrestling team at Goffstown High School, in fact he was a State Champion at 135 pounds. He went to Parris Island and became an outstanding Marine. My wife and I loved seeing him at the meets, and laughing and joking with him about everything and anything. Most importantly he was a good friend to my son and daughter.
