No nothing to do with the holidays, although they are just around the corner. No, nothing about frozen precipitation falling from the sky, even though that will ptobably happen before too much time passes. And no, it's not about buying, or selling or servicing your car, even though we extend an open invitation to do any or all of the above.
Nope... it's flu season. I just wanted to offer a gentle reminder to our friends, family and valued customers, that it might be time to get your flu shot. I have a fresh band-aid on my right shoulder, and the assurance of my doctor, that's it's just the right thing to do. I can't say it was painless, or that my shoulder isn't a bit achy...but I am feeling a little relieved that I might be spared the rather awful symptoms attached to whatever this years bug might be tempted to offer up!
Now neither my physician, nor I, can promise you'll escape this season unscathed, but chances are better than ever that you won't be afflicted if you go and get the shot. Even though we are entering the season of giving, most folks will appreciate a little Yankee thriftiness when it comes to sharing the flu bug!
Now I don't mean to harp on this too much, but...please remember to ask your family doctor, or if they offer it at work...get the shot! Because after all, don't you deserve a flu free season? Of course you do!
