Growing Pains...

Change...it's a part of growth. No matter how much we like things to stay the same, reality dictates that change, is a necessary part of growth, and development. At Belknap Subaru we have been blessed with some incredibly good fortune. We have a relatively new building, a facility that was designed for the comfort, and convenience of our customers, and good people.

We have grown this business in a fashion that is astounding...more accurately put, you, have helped us grow at an almost unheard of rate, and we're very grateful!

One of the most difficult areas…

Remembering Phil Charte...On Memorial Day!

Phil Charte was many things...a gifted athlete, a smart, and really funny guy, he was a  captain of the wrestling team at Goffstown High School, in fact he was a State Champion at 135 pounds. He went to Parris Island and became an outstanding Marine. My wife and I loved seeing him at the meets, and laughing and joking with him about everything, and anything. Most importantly he was a good friend to my…

Phil Charte...and Memorial Day!

Phil Charte was many things...a gifted athlete, a smart, and really funny guy, he was a  captain of the wrestling team at Goffstown High School, in fact he was a State Champion at 135 pounds. He went to Parris Island, and became an outstanding Marine. My wife and I loved seeing him at the meets, and laughing, and joking with him about everything, and anything. Most importantly he was a good friend to my son and daughter.

Phil was a practical joker. At one particular wrestling meet, my wife fell asleep in the bleachers, and Phil talked some of…

19,479 days and counting

As I approach my 19,480th day, I am struck by the speed at which life proceeds. I have fond memories of my childhood, and carefree days in the sun. I remember my first bike, guitar, girlfriend, and broken heart. I remember with excitement, meeting my wife, our wedding day, the birth of our children, and days at the camp...I keep these memories in my vault, they are mine to enjoy for as long as my memory holds out.

The last several months have been a very busy time. My daughter, my baby... left to begin her career in…

Homestretch

The Homestretch

By Colin McKenna

As we flip our calendars to May, the end of the academic year for Plymouth State
University, and many other New Hampshire schools, is in sight. The end of the academic year at Plymouth State University can be quite different from most other schools in the country. When spring finally rolls around, and with a little help from Mother Nature, Plymouth State once again becomes the thriving campus, it’s…

Don't Text and Drive!

Technology has allowed us to be connected with the world at any time anywhere but it can also be a threat to our safety from constant distractions. Drinking and driving is rightfully frowned upon in American culture, how many times have you heard someone say “I will never drink and drive”. Unfortunately, our culture does not hold texting and driving as shameful as drinking and driving but it is important to understand it can be…

It's a wild ride...

Sitting in the new Subaru STi is a treat...the racing style seats are very generous in size and exceedingly comfortable. Visibility is excellent, and it's Rallying heritage is evident, as you take in the view. The car has a throaty voice, enticing you to test the boundaries of its capabilities.

The experts agree this is the best handling WRX, ever  built by Subaru...its more rigid frame allows for greater stability, and handling. Its powerful 305 horse power engine delivers on the promise it makes to its owner. More than anything related to facts and figures...this car…

Impatient for Spring

As March is almost becoming April...we are left to wonder when the temperatures will begin to reflect spring...I'm not saying that winter isn't beautiful, or that our friends, who are still on the slopes, shouldn't be skiing. I am however hopeful, that the yard in front of Belknap Subaru(grass...remember grass?), be visible soon. We have had a real winter in New Hampshire. It hasn't been blizzard of…

The Technological Storm

The Technological Storm; by Colin Mckenna

Our use of technology has become an everyday, every hour and every minute task. Technology has opened the doors to so many possibilities for average people to access information, and to connect with the world, on a global scale.

The latest trend driving the latest innovation of technology is cloud computing, a virtual network of computers all connected through the internet, which serves as a tool for storing, and buying, information. Informational Technology, Telecommunication, and Search Engine Optimization Organizations are at the front end of this revolution.

Google is in the process of developing…

Are you ready?

I have used my snow blower more times this year, than in the past three years combined. I have shoveled what seems like several tons of snow, from decks, side walks, and driveways. We have moved cars, salted and sanded, brought in excavators, and used equipment we haven't used in a long...long...time.

While I am very happy for the north-country businesses that need snow to make a living... I am physically beat…
