Barbara Blinn is one of the many outstanding teachers in the Lake’s Region. She is a teacher for Winnisquam Regional High School. Her classroom in Tilton has one purpose…making sure students graduate. Her reward is seeing those efforts, come to reality, when they complete their studies and receive a diploma. Her classroom is located in the basement of the Methodist Church not far from the school.

It's no surprise that Subaru models are dog friendly, and aside from the numerous campaigns to showcase this face, the company also supports the various pet-friendly charities across the country. Now that it is #MakeADogsDay and #NationalDogWeek on Twitter, the company is really showing off this fact, and if you want to make a dog's day, consider taking yours out for a spin in your 2016 Subaru Forester.

The motto of Rotary is "Service Above Self", the club promotes community service, and active participation in community growth and improvement. I have been very fortunate to meet some outstanding people, and share fellowship with some old friends, who by happy coincidence, are also members.

On June 11th, Outgoing President Deb Tessier, passed the Gavel to the incoming President Don "Carpe" Carpenter.

When I inquired about the club, Deb's warm greeting, and invitation…
