Barbara Blinn is a very cool lady! She has a classroom dedicated, to helping those that need some additional help, to achieve their goals... succeed. In life there are many people that work hard, but few as committed to the job as Barbara. She throws herself into everything she does, and few would doubt that she will get the job done!

Belknap Subaru is proud to have adopted Barbara's classroom. The employees here have already started filling boxes with supplies to help stock the shelves. We are asking our customers to help us with any donations, either supplies or…

Just thought you might like to know how we are coming along with this project. First, I would like to thank our customers, and employees, for their patience, and help. We are committed to providing a comfortable, and pleasing environment for our customers. We hope, that once the project is complete you will enjoy the experience, and surroundings, at Belknap Subaru.

The flooring in the showroom is nearly complete...still some grouting left to do, and finish work on the walls. The customer waiting area is about two weeks from completion. Bathrooms have been tiled, and only finish work remains…

Hope, and the Naswa, and the Poker Run!

The news is full of stories that are sad...destructive weather, fires, tough economic news, and tragedy. Of late most of us want to click off the remote and put the bad news out of our minds. We are sometimes convinced by these stories that the world is an awful place, filled with uncaring  people and suffering victims.

On Saturday, July 11, at the NASWA, at Weir's Beach, a story will be written by hundreds of people from all over New England. Each person attending will be there for a very noble purpose. The story might not make the…

The Gavel Passes

Just recently, I have been given the great honor of becoming a member of the Tilton-Northfield Rotary Club. It is a club filled with remarkable people!

The motto of Rotary is "Service Above Self", the club promotes community service, and active participation in community growth and improvement. I have been very fortunate to meet some outstanding people, and share fellowship with some old friends, who by happy coincidence, are also members.

On June 11th, Outgoing President Deb Tessier, passed the Gavel to the incoming President Don "Carpe" Carpenter.

When I inquired about the club, Deb's warm greeting, and invitation…

Phil Charte...and a day to remember!

Phil Charte was many things...a gifted athlete, a smart, and really funny guy, he was a  captain of the wrestling team at Goffstown High School, in fact he was a State Champion at 135 pounds. He went to Parris Island, and became an outstanding Marine. My wife and I loved seeing him at the meets, and laughing, and joking with him about everything, and anything. Most importantly he was a good friend to my…

It is also the season for tourists to begin returning, summer residents will once again return, to open the windows and doors of their second homes. Yes springtime has arrived....

Along with the vacationers, we also have a special group of visitors, from all over our great country. They come not to vacation…

Alzheimer's Disease

In the last year of my Grandmother's life, she was bedridden, did not speak, and did not recognize her family. It was heartbreaking to visit her, hold her hand, and realize that she didn't recognize us. My grandmother was an exceptional person, she helped my Dad raise us, she was a kind, gentle, soul, whose love was unconditional. More frustrating still, was the lack of information, understanding and hope offered by those who provided care. The treatment then, was to make them as comfortable as possible, and wait for the end.

I felt a deep sorrow for all…
