Just recently, I have been given the great honor of becoming a member of the Tilton-Northfield Rotary Club. It is a club filled with remarkable people!
The motto of Rotary is "Service Above Self", the club promotes community service, and active participation in community growth and improvement. I have been very fortunate to meet some outstanding people, and share fellowship with some old friends, who by happy coincidence, are also members.
On June 11th, Outgoing President Deb Tessier, passed the Gavel to the incoming President Don "Carpe" Carpenter.
When I inquired about the club, Deb's warm greeting, and invitation to join them for lunch, was awesome. During her term she has been an outstanding leader, and championed the cause of Rotary. I'd like to thank her for her commitment to community and "service before self"!
I would also like to extend my best wishes to the incoming President Don "Carpe" Carpenter. He is a very good man...I wish him good fortune, and success, in the coming year!
Lastly I offer my best wishes to Joe Laplante...by all accounts he has been one of the very strong pillars of this club, and Rotary International for many years. You will be missed...think about us, as you traverse the wilds of Minnesota!
