The Technological Storm

The Technological Storm; by Colin Mckenna

Our use of technology has become an everyday, every hour and every minute task. Technology has opened the doors to so many possibilities for average people to access information, and to connect with the world, on a global scale.

The latest trend driving the latest innovation of technology is cloud computing, a virtual network of computers all connected through the internet, which serves as a tool for storing, and buying, information. Informational Technology, Telecommunication, and Search Engine Optimization Organizations are at the front end of this revolution.

Google is in the process of developing…

Washington's Birthday Sales...

Things change...that's just the way it is...in this case, I believe it is for the better! Twenty, or thirty years ago, the President's Day, automotive sales, were filled with gimmicks, cherry pies, and sales practices that weren't always consumer friendly. High pressure negotiations, and uncomfortable environments, were common.

After witnessing some of those thing, we were committed to doing things differently. Our web site offers customers our prices and costs, it describes the Belknap Subaru Difference in clear, and unvarnished  detail. You can get an estimate of your trade-in's value, get your credit approved…

Whats all the hub bub?

Listening to the local news, one might get the impression that we have just entered another ice age. Highly coiffed, neatly dressed, attractive people, have spent days, delivering every imaginable detail about the low temperatures, and wind-chills.

I am left wondering...why? I have lived in New England all my life...New Hampshire for the last forty years, as far back as I can remember...January has always been, really cold. In fact one thing you can reasonably count on in New Hampshire...really cold weather in January, and a fresh crop of politicians looking to be President every three…

The Season of Giving...

It isn't everyday that you can buy a product you need and want, and at the same exact time do something good for a cause you support. Subaru's Share the Love event takes place at a time of year when all of us are focused on being Thankful, and giving.

As a Subaru dealership we are a business...but every business is comprised of the people who work here...it is Beth, and…

Why I'm Thankful...

I wasn't available for the first Thanksgiving...but the message of the first celebration of the Holiday, was so powerful, that George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln, decided that it was a tradition worth keeping.

Taking time for reflection, and expression, of those things that have been blessings in our lives, is a truly worthy endeavor. As for me, it is a holiday, that I find one of the most satisfying. One need not purchase…

Oh no ...it's that time of year...

No nothing to do with the holidays, although they are just around the corner. No, nothing about frozen precipitation falling from the sky, even though that will ptobably happen before too much time passes. And no, it's not about buying, or selling or servicing your car, even though we extend an open invitation to do any or all of the above.

Nope... it's flu season. I just wanted to offer a gentle reminder…

The Seasons Change

As September draws to a close, we are physically reminded that something wonderful is happening . The changing color of the leaves is the first hint that 2014 is just around the corner. In New England we are visited by leaf peepers from around the world. They come to see the greatest show on earth...our landscape changes from  beautiful shades of green to a pallet of colors unrivaled by any artist.  It is a subtle…

The Game is A Foot...

The roar of the crowd, bright lights, and most importantly, a story to tell...the small theater with a big heart, has done it again. Last night, I witnessed a wonderful performance at the Winnie Playhouse...Sherlock Holmes, The Final Adventure.

The acting was very good, the set creative, and the feeling...intimate. The actor who portrays Sherlock captured that annoying, but amusing and likeable character, dreamed up by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, to a tee. Watson is both a character and the narrator, he is funny, and tells the story seamlessly between roles, Irene Adler is beautiful and lives…
