The company is limiting the amount of waste used in shipping their parts and engines over from Japan by reusing the Styrofoam upwards of 23 times. What this does is limit the amount of this material left over to decompose slowly in a landfill, and as you know, Styrofoam is estimated to take around 500 years to breakdown completely and who of us will be around then to see it?
Barbara Blinn is one of the many outstanding teachers in the Lake’s Region. She is a teacher for Winnisquam Regional High School. Her classroom in Tilton has one purpose…making sure students graduate. Her reward is seeing those efforts, come to reality, when they complete their studies and receive a diploma. Her classroom is located in the basement of the Methodist Church not far from the school.
