Subaru is doing something pretty great these days, aside from offering safe and reliable cars that consistently earn Top Safety Pick and five-star ratings in crash testing. The company is limiting the amount of waste used in shipping their parts and engines over from Japan by reusing the Styrofoam upwards of 23 times. What this does is limit the amount of this material left over to decompose slowly in a landfill, and as you know, Styrofoam is estimated to take around 500 years to breakdown completely and who of us will be around then to see it?
