The Solterra EV marks the start of something special for Subaru. As the first electric vehicle in the company's lineup, it presents an intriguing choice. This model's electric powertrain produces 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque, so you can have fun driving around Laconia and Plymouth. With its standard all-wheel-drive capability, the Solterra EV comes prepared for anything. It monitors its performance at all times, and whenever it notices an issue with traction, it will make the necessary adjustments to keep you safely moving in the right direction. If things get tough, engage X-MODE. In this mode, the SUV will be ready to make changes to improve traction and stability when dealing with slippery roads and trails. When you're low on battery power, plug in your Solterra at home using a Level 1 or Level 2 charger. With a Level 2 charger, you'll get a full charge overnight. Alternatively, you could use faster public charging stations when you're on long road trips and don't want to stop for too long.
The technology in the cabin can enhance the experience of driving a Solterra. Use the smartphone compatibility to access certain apps and choose from various entertainment options SiriusXM provides. Since this Subaru has standard Wi-Fi capability, you and your passengers can enjoy a fast network connection. The Premium features an eight-inch touchscreen, while the others have 12.3-inch touchscreens with integrated navigation. They also offer Harman Kardon premium sound systems that consist of 11 speakers and 576-watt-equivalent amplifiers.
