One of the great joys of adding years to your life...is the realization that life is not a movie. At some point you come to the conclusion that life doesn't just happen, you have an active roll in deciding how things will be. You begin to try new things, you grow in your understanding of choices and opportunities.
I had a Birthday this year...fifty five...I look around and see the world as an amazing place. I want to explore more...experience more, share more with the love of my life, and give more. My wife and I have come to the conclusion that "things" aren't nearly as important as they once were. The realization of time, and the fact that money will not buy you a great deal more of it, makes living each moment a great deal more important than it once was.
If I could do anything over in life, the one thing I would have made great efforts to learn sooner...is the value of time...not just to do more...but to make time, to do simple things...like having a cup of tea...with someone you love. No words...just tea!
