It isn't everyday that you can buy a product you need and want, and at the same exact time do something good for a cause you support. Subaru's Share the Love event takes place at a time of year when all of us are focused on being Thankful, and giving.
As a Subaru dealership we are a business...but every business is comprised of the people who work here...it is Beth, and Artie, in service, Mark and Don in sales, Mark Johnstone, owner...all of us living our lives, we have family and friends that all face struggles and challenges..some enjoying good times and others, not so good.
That's why as a business we come together to participate in a program that raises a fair sum of money for organizations which reach out to real people in our communities. Organizations like Veterans Count, Meals on Wheels, the ASPCA, providing good homes for animals, The National Park Foundation, and Make a Wish, making wishes come true for sick children.
Belknap Subaru chose Veterans Count as our local charity this year. We selected them because they directly touch the lives of Veterans, and their families, right here in the Lake's Region. They solve not only the immediate need, but work on providing the resources to make sure issues are resolved permanently.
Jeff Levitan was kind enough to allow us to be a part of the "Cash N Can"s, program. We are committed to being an active partner in the is effort, because hunger in our community is a problem we can fix.
To all our friends...we hope you will find a way to make a mark in your community...hope is the reason for the season!
