I have used my snow blower more times this year, than in the past three years combined. I have shoveled what seems like several tons of snow, from decks, side walks, and driveways. We have moved cars, salted and sanded, brought in excavators, and used equipment we haven't used in a long...long...time.
While I am very happy for the north-country businesses that need snow to make a living... I am physically beat from the chores each flake brings. As a fella that enjoys driving a car, famous for its symmetrical all-wheel-drive...I wouldn't mind giving the drive train a nice little break! For those of you reveling in the white gold, I bid you to enjoy it while it lasts, but politely ask you to confine it to the mountains and trails up north!
I don't want to be a spoil sport, but my back is killing me...white flakes that once made me childishly giddy, now annoy the heck out of me, and I have discovered muscle groups, which I had previously assumed were working just fine, that just aren't.
We are just finishing up February, hoping for a nice finish to our Presidents' Day Sales event, and would be exceedingly grateful if our customers could have a stretch of nice weather to visit us in.
This is New England and while it would be nice...I haven't put away the shovel yet!
