They say when March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb. I hope this is true...although we have had a relatively quiet winter, it has been a long one. High energy costs are making the winter a great deal more costly than folks would like...me included.
It is good time to consider taking some steps to make sure that your Subaru is in tip-top shape, this will help you maximize your energy dollars. Things like regular oil changes go without saying...little items like air filters, tune ups and proper tire inflation can subtract 10% to 15% of your normal fuel consumption. Slow down...reducing highway speeds to 65 MPH from 75 MPH, can also increase your cars fuel economy. Fewer trips to the pump, means more dollars in the wallet.
So here's to putting winter coats back in the closet, unpacking short sleeve shirts and days by the beautiful lakes in New Hampshire...yup, I'm waiting for the lamb!
